What Are Chemical Peels?
Chemical peels use carefully selected acids to exfoliate the outer layers of the skin, encouraging cell turnover and revealing fresher, brighter skin beneath. They can be tailored to address a range of concerns including dullness, uneven tone, fine lines, congestion and mild acne. The depth and formulation of the peel is chosen based on your skin type and goals.

The Process
What to Expect

Your consultation will include a skin assessment to determine the most appropriate peel for your skin type and concerns. I will explain what to expect during and after the treatment.

The skin is cleansed before the peel solution is applied. You may experience a mild tingling or warming sensation during application. The peel is left on for a set time before being neutralised and removed.

Treatment takes approximately 30–45 minutes. Depending on the depth of the peel, you may experience some redness and peeling in the days following treatment — this is a normal part of the process.
After Your Treatment
Aftercare Advice
- Avoid touching or picking at the skin as it peels — allow it to shed naturally.
- Use only gentle, fragrance-free products until the skin has fully settled.
- Avoid sun exposure, saunas and strenuous exercise for 48–72 hours.
- Apply SPF diligently — the skin is more sensitive to UV following a peel.
- Avoid active skincare ingredients such as retinol and acids until the skin has fully recovered.
